The book and this codebase grew together. Paracoding is what the book is about, and the book is the record of building it — what it cost, what broke, and the morning the human approval step came out of the system and had to be explained.
A mushroom farmer who spent twenty years as a security architect built a collection of AI agents to run the business, and wrote down what it cost. Not a survey of the field and not a pitch: a working record of one person putting agents in front of real credentials, in a real Google Cloud project, with real money moving — including the morning the human approval step came out of the system, and the explanation that had to follow.
It is the same system documented on this site. The lexicon on these pages — strains, substrate, the Flow Hood, sterile technique — is borrowed from the farm because the problems are the same shape: contamination is cheap, sterility is a procedure, and the record of what you did is the only thing that tells you which one you got.
Agentic Fungi is the third. The first two set up the way of looking at things that the platform is built on, and all three are published through Paracoding Press.
Civilization read as a physical system — incentives, energy, feedback loops and constraints — rather than as a story about beliefs.
